Komodo Dragon is a boss and character that can be found in Rugged Rainforest, and reappears in Floor 29 of The Pit.
Appearance[]
Komodo Dragon appears as an olive-colored lizard-like creature (aka a Komodo Dragon), with two simplified eyes, a snout, four limbs, and a tail the same length as the rest of her body.
Interaction[]
Komodo Dragon will force the player into battling them after they blow up the rubble Griefer sets up after they meet up at the room with a pool of water that can only be navigated across with the Rocket Boots.
After she gets defeated, she will reconcile with the player, and retreat to their nest, where they can then be talked to as a normal NPC.
Moveset[]
Venom Bite (MELEE)[]
Komodo Dragon crawls up to her target, hunches her neck back, and bites them, inflicting 
4 and 
Poison for four turns.
Growl (SUPPORT)[]
Komodo Dragon roars, using up a turn to give itself 
Fast[1] for three turns.
Tail Smack (MELEE)[]
Komodo Dragon crawls up to her target, winds up her tail, and whips her target with her tail, inflicting 5 and 
ATK Down (LV 1) for three turns. Her mouth can be seen open during the wind up, but closes a bit before the hit comes, which can be used as a way to telegraph the attack.

Trivia[]
- Komodo Dragon is based on the real life komodo dragons, which is the largest extant species of lizard. [2]
- Her Venom Bite attack is based on how Komodo dragons have extremely dangerous toxins in their saliva.
- Despite having her text be a green color in-battle, the overworld NPC does not have this trait.
- Certain parts of the Komodo Dragons battle theme have resemblances to Strong One/Masked Man Theme from Mother 3.
- Unlike most enemies, Komodo Dragon actually has a death animation rather than exploding to bits or getting thrown in a ragdoll form, where they seemingly shriek in pain briefly before flopping down to the ground. This trait of a unique death animation is shared with Hatred and The Great Flocci.
- Prior to Demo 4, Komodo Dragon can be afflicted the
Dizzy and Sleep status effects, although lacking unique animations, using her idle animation instead for these status effects.
